noise localization and reduction of respiratory system.

Medical blowers for respiratory systems must meet strict noise production requirements. One of our clients, a designer of respiratory systems, asked us to localize the source of the noise production. We found the noise producing areas and redesigned the resulting in a reduced sound pressure level and damping the frequency peaks.

The transmission of sound through the blower is investigated. Measurements with an acoustic sound camera, in a broad frequency range and from multiple orientations are conducted. The frequency spectrum is analyzed and peaks are investigated.

Demcon multiphysics.
